My first published object show, CCTV is currently on somewhat of a hiatus as losing access to my youtube channel (something not in my control) has put me off continuing to animate episode 5 for a long while. And now after months of not working on it and procrastinating working on it…..i will continue to procrastinate.
CCTV is a horror and mystery themed object show inspired by shows like ITFT and hfjONE, but unlike those shows, CCTV wasn’t really planned to turn out like this. So I had to make a “rebooted” version of the first episode to add some more foreshadowing and lore points into what began as a wannabe joke show.
Starring 4 objects, Visor, Party Popper, Party Pooper and Fruit Cup (5 if you count Spooder as an object which I personally would not considering he is a weird spider thing) and an apparition fittingly named Ghosty, CCTV takes place on the Paper Plains, (note the almost but kinda not directly taken from hfjONE’s “The Plain” a white and grey land of which we see badly drawn trees and bushes. Nothing much is seemingly happening there until Ghosty shows up, promising a prize for the one who wins the new competition that just started! After everyone agrees because - quote “I have nothing better to do.” - they set out on their first challenge: A game of tag!
Simple right!?!!?! NOPE- no yeah its pretty simple.
Over the course of what is currently only 4 and a half episodes, we learn that the random ghost creature that showed up out of nowhere might not be as friendly or as random as they seem!! Woah, that's crazy…
I love this show, probably biased because i made it but its my favourite creation i have ever made and i hope to build up the motivation to finish god damn episode 5 as soon as i have motivation! :_D
Bad Show is the first show I'm working with a group of other VAs and artists to bring to life this show in a way better quality standard than my other projects where it's all just me.
Bad Show is set in a world where objects are categorized by place of residence. Field objects basically just spawn there and have the names like “Pin” and “Leafy” that you see in the og, king of the OSC, BFDI! Meanwhile, city objects and objects who live in other areas that aren't fields, have names such as “Steve” and “John”. Classic names you see on your day to day. Both of these groups don’t really understand each other, with some downright hating the others (i have created object racism and i am proud /j /j /j /j /j /j /j /sarc)
So what will happen when disguised city object, “Tiger’s Eye” goes to a nearby field to host a competition show!!!!!???? He’s heard so much of object shows set in fields and thinks, “well they've all got to be bored as fields over there! I'll go host a show!!” I’ll tell you what happens…! They don’t care! The field objects refuse his proposal to compete! And so, very confused, he instead decides to document the day-to-day life of these objects to show the world that field objects aren't actually that bad and they aren't uncultured, uncivilised weirdos, I promise! In this, hopefully not bad show, Tiger’s Eye will make a fun time out of it >and will film the object show he’s always wanted to make!
This synopsis shows Tiger’s Eye as the main character but really everyone in the cast is given the spotlight (perhaps literally) as much as objectively possible and I love all my children equally! ;D
